Traditional hiring favours formal education and overlooks talent. Roughly 60% South African work-seekers didn’t graduate high school. We needed a way to measure fluid intelligence (problem-solving) to showcase in CVs for a better chance at being hired.

Lead end-to-end design: Worked with clinical psychologists, product managers, and developers.
Rapid usability testing: Testing with representative users to improve early ideas.

Ready-made UI left more time for problem solving
Developers used the design system to build a proof of concept.
This gave them more freedom to work on the complex logic of the assessment without having to build the UI from scratch.
